Next step in the profession...

So Mike's getting paid to take a course at Purdue. And it's basically review of everything that he's learned thus far. Apparently his boss is a pretty good teacher, and Mike's pretty good at learning from training videos because this course has been fairly simple for him. But it means a weeks paid stay at a nice hotel in West Lafayette, IN which is actually a really cute area. Milo and I decided to come and stay, since we don't really have anything pressing on our schedule :) We're right across the street from a beautiful park and bridge over the river and into Lafayette where there are cute shops and coffee shops and cafes and a delicious Italian restaurant. So we're here, reading, working on Milo's baby book, going for walks, swinging at the park, looking at books at Border's across the way, taking naps, just chillin', waiting for Dad to come home... Sounds like our life most of the time, actually...
